It might be corny, but I can’t resist making heart-shaped treats for Valentine’s Day. From brownies, to pancakes, to pb&j sandwiches, I’ve tried it all.

Or so I thought. Then I came across Celia’s heart-shaped pita bread on the On Cardamom and Cast Iron blog. Genius! Even better, the recipe lets you make the dough a day ahead, so I can mix it up on Sunday, then bake a batch on Monday night. With a dish of hummus, this will send the signal that Feb. 14 is not just any old Monday night.

Thank you for linking to my post! I'm so addicted to no-knead baking now. It opened up a lot of doors for trying new things (like these pitas). Happy Valentine's Day to you.
