Having just seen Midnight in Paris, I’ve been in the mood for all things French lately. The night I saw it, I downloaded the best French café music I could find, including one of my all-time favorite songs: “La vie en rose.” I keep wishing I was traveling around Europe now, instead of two or three months from now! I can’t wait to take the train from London to Paris and spend a weekend exploring the city and enjoying French food and wine – especially French desserts.
With this French mood I’ve been in, the Strawberry White Chocolate Mousse Crepes from Evil Shenanigans hits just the right spot. I remember trying crepes for the first time in a hole-in-the-wall cafe when I went to Europe with my family. I wasn’t very adventurous back then, so I asked for a plain chocolate crepe. It was delicious nonetheless, and I’m dying to have some more of this lovely French dessert. So while I’m waiting for August to come, I’ll satisfy my craving with Evil Shenanigans’ recipe, which sounds amazing.
If you want to make crepes at home, as well, but you’re still shopping for a crepe maker, Fine Cooking tested crepe pans and published their findings to make your search a little easier.
