Jen got a whirlwind culinary tour of Europe with Oceania cruise lines, as a preview of their culinary tour program. That meant jamon in Spain…
…And mounds of gelato in Italy.
Meanwhile, I was hosted by Weekapaug Inn, in Westerly, Rhode Island, where I learned about the naturalist program.
And then I went to the nearby Ocean House, where the on-staff forager led a cooking demo, topping flatbreads with roasted red peppers.
This shot could be from Jen’s trip, but it’s actually from mine. The crew at Jonathan Edwards Winery gave us a taste of Cabernet straight from the barrel.
Juli got out a bit, too, with a trip to the Maille mustard tasting room. Ever seen mustard on tap?
