All things being equal, Julia would rather grill on a day like this than when her internship started in the winter.

The test kitchen’s Abby Simchak is all business searing this big ol’ roast.
Abby has what she calls a sea of meat on set today. Looks awfully pretty for slabs of beef.
Is that a Supermoon sighting? No, it’s just that the onions demand dramatic overhead lighting to hide any flaws. Such divas.
Also not a supermoon. Scott Phillips, our notoriously camera-shy photographer, doesn’t mind an action shot if we catch him from the right angle.
Denise’s marketing meeting was moved outside to make room for the sea of beef. A real hardship. She’s writing a note to claim one of those roasts for tonight’s dinner. “The big one is MINE. I already invited people over, so DON’T even think about it. Thanks! : )”
