Early this week, I got a special treat: a trip to Blue Hill at Stone Barns.
I went for the official launch of Tom Gore Vineyards. This second-generation Sonoma grape-grower has started his own line with Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Alexander Valley Field Blend. All were delicious, especially alongside Chef de Cuisine Michael Gallina’s food.
The next night, I was in Manhattan, rubbing elbows with Chef Sara Jenkins at the launch of her Short Stack Edition cookbook of recipes that use Prosciutto di Parma.
Back on the homefront, Juli was testing Make It Tonight recipes.
And Chris slid the last magnets on his board into the “Final” column. That means our June/July issue is DONE. Now we’re off the the annual conference for IACP. We’ll catch up next week.
