The weather turned cold this week, as it tends to during late October in New England. We had calzones in the test kitchen to keep us warm. Here, they get a healthy sprinkle of flaky sea salt before going in the oven.
Pam delicately places tea leaves on set for a shoot. She ended up busting out the tweezers for this one, and then the whole crew warmed up with a nice cup of tea.
Other seasonal fare included trays and trays of roasted vegetables for a different shoot. Don’t worry, these all found homes among the vegetable-crazed FC staff.
We also roasted some fruit, which we then took scissors to. The usual.
And Abby picked through greens to find the loveliest leaves for the camera. These, too, found good homes afterward.
Layla prepares for a blind Chardonnay tasting on Friday. Not the typical Halloween celebration, but it made a nice accompaniment to candy.
With all this shooting, we rarely get to show just the props on their own. This time, we couldn’t resist showing them off.
