Being 100% Italian, you can imagine how much time my family spends in the kitchen. We talk, argue, and laugh, but mostly eat. I grew up cooking along side my mother and developed a love for food. But when I left home to attend Trinity College, I gave up the privilege of making parmigiana or caponata at a whim and traded it in for bland, buffet-style cafeteria food. As disappointing as that was, I developed a new passion for writing and will earn my bachelors in creative writing this December. As an editorial intern at Fine Cooking, I combine my two passions and have a lot of fun doing it!
