Desserts from the Grill

During grilling season, we have an extra excuse to eat dessert: it’s just so simple (and often, not totally unhealthy)! Just toss some firm fruit on the grill (peaches, pineapple, mango, and bananas are all good candidates), some sliced cake (pound cake, angel food cake work well) and voila. Both fruit and cake get extra toasty and caramelized where the grill makes its marks. Either or both are also scrumptious paired with a scoop of ice cream.
