What is it?

A northern Italian condiment made of candied fruit and mustard seeds or mustard oil, mostarda is traditionally served alongside a bollito misto, a classic stew. It also adds a sweet-and-spicy note to roasted meats or veal or pork cutlets, and is a fabulous addition to a cheese board.
