With Kansas City facing off against San Francisco in this year’s Super Bowl, there are plenty of delicious options for your game-day menu. We’ve put together one that assumes you’re hosting fans of both teams. Start off with cups of Cioppino, the legendary San Francisco seafood stew, paired, of course, with sourdough bread. Next it’s Kansas-City style barbecued ribs with Buttermilk Slaw (Too cold to grill the ribs? Follow the cooking instructions on this recipe; they’ll still have lots of BBQ flavor from the rub and sauce).  And you’d better choose a dessert that spotlights both team colors; luckily that’s red and red, so these fantastic red velvet cupcakes fill the bill (don’t tell KC fans they’re from San Francisco pastry chef Elizabeth Faulkner).

Menu Timeline
