In a pivotal moment of Greta Gerwig’s coming-of-age drama Lady Bird, the title character (Saoirse Ronan) opts out of her family’s Thanksgiving dinner to spend the holiday with her boyfriend’s family. Hosting a watch party (or an Oscars party)? What a great excuse to throw another Friendsgiving, with this turkey-day menu inspired by the movie’s California setting. The turkey is flavored with citrus zest and juice, the stuffing boasts currants, almonds, and goat cheese, and a custard tart with wine-poached grapes finishes the meal.
