Starring Meryl Streep as Washington Post publisher Katherine Graham and Tom Hanks as editor Ben Bradlee, The Post is all about the power of the press, as the newspaper wrangles with publishing the leaked Pentagon Papers. So our menu also celebrates the power of the press…culinarily speaking, that is. It leads off with a sausage-and-onion panini (you can use a grill pan if you don’t have a panini press), paired with a green salad with raspberries and pressed ricotta (aka ricotta salata). Dessert is a simple chocolate tart with a press-in crust…made from Graham crackers, natch. All three recipes are simple and quick, so dinner is ready well ahead of deadline.

Menu Timeline
