This pie is delicious, but so sweet and rich. Everyone in the family loved it. I thought the banana infused milk was brilliant, loved the mascarpone whipped cream, but wasn't thrilled with the banana layer. I prefer fresh bananas to the sweetly-concentrated cooked bananas.
okay
I made the recipe almost as written, but reduced the sugar a little as I find most recipes too sweet for my taste. My dad said he thought this pie could wake the dead. Totally awesome! I will make this one again!
