You can jazz up this basic recipe by adding Rosemary-Lemon Thyme Oil or Moroccan Spice Rub when you toss the broccoli with olive oil and salt and pepper before roasting. Or toss the broccoli with Sesame Sea Salt, Caramelized Shallot Butter, Ginger-Lemon Soy Splash, or Toasted Coriander & Garlic Oil after they come out of the oven.

(Disclaimer: I don't like broccoli anyway, save for broccoli in stir fry dishes.....) I really have a hard time with broccoli, and thought I'd try this recipe since it's roasted with oil and salt and pepper, but I found nothing special about it. Was hard to eat, won't make it agan. Bummer, as I know I'm supposed to eat my cruciferous veggies!!

Ive always struggled to roast broccoli to perfection, but this recipe turns out perfect everytime.
