This was one of the best burgers I have ever made/had!! It was delicious, even with turkey meat instead of beef. The sauce and caramelized onions really complement each other. Keeping this in the rotation!
These are the most delicious burgers ever, and are just about the only burgers we make anymore. We have been making them since the issue first came out. We change nothing, except that we grill them. The mayo sauce, gruyere cheese, and arugula really make these. They are also excellent formed into rectangles and served in baguettes, with the aforementioned toppings.
I have made this recipe again and again. I would never go out again for a burger. Excellent.
