What would be a different cheese substitute?
This a very versatile recipe, easy to change ingredients and super simple!
Is it correct to rate a recipe 5 stars when I've messed with it? I'm not sure. I used the times, temperatures and dimensions to cook the pastry and its load. I had to substitute some of the filling ingredients (different cheeses and herbs, and I added some dry coppa - Italian cured meat) to satisfy the carnivores in the household. That said, the result was lovely and I'll be doing it again. Basic instructions were excellent.
This was incredibly decadent. And rich. And delicious! I’d be tempted to cut back on the cheese next time (but why?). Serve with bubbles for a special occasion.
