Lavender-Strawberry Smoothie

Servings: 1 to 2

This smoothie is combines the sweetness of strawberries and the wonderful floral flavor of lavender.  A little lavender goes a long way; start with a small amount and add more if you like.


  • 2 cups strawberries, stemmed (about 9 oz.)
  • 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt (about 8 oz.)
  • 1 to 2 Tbs. honey
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. dried lavender


Put the strawberries, yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and lavender in a blender. Begin processing on low speed and slowly increase to high; blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Add honey to taste and ice-cold water, if needed, to thin the smoothie enough to blend.
