Diced apples, roasted chestnuts, and dried cranberries lend a touch of sweet to this traditional bread stuffing, which pairs perfectly with the New England Turkey and Gravy.
I made this for our "pre-Thanksgiving" dinner. I used baking-ready chestnuts instead of jarred. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a T. It came out moist and delicious. Definitely a keeper.
Very enjoyable and relatively easy to make - we had it alongside "regular" stuffing just in case, and most at our table preferred this one!
