  • 1/2 cup pear brandy (like Poire Williams)
  • 1/4 cup triple sec (like Cointreau)
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lime juice
  • 2 thin strips lime zest

  • Combine the brandy, triple sec, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into two chilled martini glasses. Twist the lime zest into spirals and drop one in each glass.

    Very nice and tasty! It is strong but if you use high quality liquor (no Triple Sec!) it comes together well. You can use lime or lemon - I've used both and each taste good.

    This drink was way too strong! My guests did not like it at all. I would not recommend this one

    Sophisticated. Fantastic. Quality of the Pear brandy is key. Instead of Poire Williams I used Brandy Peak "Spirit of Pear Brandy" (Oregon), and Cointreau.
