The Pacific sand dab has a delicate, sweet flavor that’s brought out with a simple pan-fry in this recipe, anchored by earthy, rich morel mushrooms. If whole sand dabs aren’t available, you can substitute sole or flounder fillets.

Truly awful. Although I was able to salvage this to the point of it being tolerable and served it anyway, I consider this recipe an affront to the beauty of the Morel, and to my taste buds. Its really quite awful. Effectively just oil and way, way, way too much vinegar. The recipe also calls for parsley and never includes it.
