Inspired by the Italian potato pie called gatto di patate, this dish features panko-dusted, Parmesan-flavored mashed potatoes that hold a layer of crumbled savory sausage and provolone cheese.
This was delicious almost exactly as written. I would suggest adding a bit more salt throughout the cooking process. My entire family added salt to their individual wedge. Once that was done, it was exceptionally delicious. I will defiantly make again!!!
