Sweet Chili-Mango Dipping Sauce

Colin Clark

Yield: Yields 1-1/4 cups

This sauce has it all—sweet fruitiness, sour tang, gentle spice—and it’s the perfect counterpoint to crispy fried Lumpia (Filipino spring rolls).

  • 1 ripe medium mango, diced
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lime juice; more to taste
  • 1 Tbs. granulated sugar; more to taste
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce, preferably Mae Ploy brand

  • Using a food processor, pulse the mango, lime juice, and sugar into a chunky purée. Transfer to a medium bowl and whisk in the chili sauce. Season to taste with more lime or sugar, if necessary, and serve.
