Chinese Five-Spice Popcorn

Scott Phillips

Servings: 8 to 10

For something so simple, this packs a huge flavor punch, thanks to the heady aroma of five-spice powder. Though good with store-bought five-spice powder, it’s even better with a homemade blend.

  • 1 batch freshly popped Basic Stovetop Popcorn
  • 2 Tbs. Asian sesame oil
  • 2 Tbs. five-spice powder
  • 2 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • Kosher salt
